Burnley to host Hellas Verona in pre-season fixture
The Clarets will face off against ‘Gialloblu’ (the Yellow-Blues) on Saturday, August 9th, (kick-off 3 p.m.), in a game that concludes their pre-season preparations.
Hellas Verona, to give them their full name, were founded in 1903, and finished the 2013/14 campaign in 10th place in Serie A.

Hide AdThe club’s most successful campaign came in 1984-85, as they finished four points ahead of Torino to claim the title.
Currently leading the line for Verona is former Fiorentina, Bayern Munich and Juventus striker Luca Toni, who has 47 caps for Italy and played in the 2006 World Cup Final win against France.
