Burnley FC youngsters sign new deals

The homegrown pair came into the club on Tuesday to put pen to paper on the deals offered to them by Burnley boss Eddie Howe at the end of the season.

Strikers Alex MacDonald and Wes Fletcher have also been offered new contracts to stay with the Clarets next season.

Frontman Knowles, 19, capped an impressive campaign by being named among the substitutes for the Clarets’ final Championship game of the season against Cardiff City.

And midfield man Harvey finished the season gaining valuable first-team experience on loan at Fleetwood Town as the ‘Cod Army’ reached the semi-finals of the Blue Square Premier play-offs.
