Burnley FC fans snap up season tickets

Burnley have announced that 10,500 season tickets have already been sold for the 2011/12 season, at the end of the Early Bird period, which ended on Thursday.

Clarets chairman Barry Kilby is thrilled at the level of backing from the fans, after what has been something of a frustrating campaign to date: “The Board of Directors is delighted at the number of season tickets sold during the Early Bird period.

“The figure shows we are heading in the right direction, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all supporters for their loyal support.”
