BURNLEY FC: Clarets stars meet VEKA staff

cLARETS boss Sean Dyche and two of his star players took time out from football to visit one of the town’s top employers.

The manager, club captain Jason Shackell and star striker Charlie Austin went along to VEKA plc on the Rossendale Road industrial estate to meet the 350 employees, sign autographs and chat to office and shop floor staff.

Veka, which is the country’s largest producer of PVC for windows and doors, is currently one of the town’s success stories and was delighted to welcome the Clarets trio.

They spent a long time touring the whole factory and talking to as many people as possible.

The company provide sponsorship to the football club and it was the club’s way of saying thank you.
