Burnley drawn at home to Spurs in FA Cup

Burnley have been drawn at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup, following the draw tonight on BBC Two at The Deep Aquarium in Hull.

Hull local volunteer and coach Paul Adamson drew out Burnley, whilst former Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle striker Alan Shearer pulled Spurs out of the hat.

It’s the first time the two sides have met each other in the FA Cup since February 1966 when Spurs ran out 4-3 winners at White Hart Lane.

Burnley will look to reach the fourth round for the first time since 2011, after three-successive third round exits.

Ties will take place between January 3rd and 6th.
