A season’s best attendance of 17,285 turned out to see the Clarets beat promotion rivals Derby County at Turf Moor on Saturday.

And with Burnley boasting the only unbeaten home record in the Championship, having gone a calendar year without defeat, and six more home games to come, Banaszkiewicz hopes to see even more supporters come out to see what promises to be an exciting end to the season.

Banaszkiewicz said: “I’d just like to say thank you very much for the great attendance on Saturday. This year our home average is now 12,824, having been 13,082 in the promotion season five years ago, so we are on course to beat that. So thanks for your support, and with six more home games to come, hopefully the team can maintain their momentum and go on and achieve promotion.”
