Burnley announce friendly with Swiss side Étoile Carouge FC

The game, which will round off their training camp in Évian-les-Bains, will be played at the 7,200 capacity Stade de la Fontenette in Carouge on Friday, July 10th (kick-off 7 p.m. local time).

Étoile Carouge, founded in 1904, are located in the Canton of Geneva in the south western corner of Switzerland, close to the French border.

They last played in the top tier of Swiss football in 1997-1998.

Admission to the game will be 10 Swiss Francs, which equates to around £7.

Burnley’s other confirmed pre-season dates include trips to Accrington Stanley on July 18th, Fleetwood on July 28th, and Michael Duff’s testimonial game at home to Bradford City on August 1st.
