And in doing so the Clarets chief became one of few English managers to reach the milestone.

Dyche, 49, joined the likes of Alan Pardew, Roy Hodgson, Steve Bruce, Sam Allardyce, Alan Curbishley, Harry Redknapp and Glenn Hoddle in a very exclusive club.

The Clarets went ahead as early as the second minute when Robbie Brady picked out the bottom corner from 20 yards out.

Chris Wood saw a golden opportunity to double Burnley's advantage go begging before Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised on the stroke of half-time.

Nick Pope kept the hosts in it when denying James Rodriguez and substitute Gylfi Sigurdsson in spectacular fashion while Jordan Pickford palmed away Wood's header from a corner late on.

The Clarets remain second bottom in the division, but joined West Bromwich Albion on six points.
