Tonight's opponents, Tottenham Hotspur, were on the receiving end of that anomaly in February 2019 when Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes netted either side of Harry Kane's equaliser.

However, Sean Dyche's side have it all to do if they're to overcome a free-scoring Spurs side on this occasion.

Jose Mourinho's men became only the third club to score more than 10 goals in their opening two away matches of a top flight campaign when putting five past Southampton at St Mary's and then hammering Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford.

Burnley, meanwhile, are yet to put their first win on the board in the league this term having collected a solitary point from their opening four fixtures.
