The Clarets midfielder could play his final game for the club tomorrow, before he faces an FA commission, after requesting a personal hearing, following charges of misconduct regarding alleged betting breaches.

Barton has been accused of placing 1,260 bets on football between March 26th, 2006 and May 13th, 2016, and could be looking at a sizeable suspension.

Barton has made another big impact in his second spell with the club, but, with his contract only running to the summer, as regards a new deal, Dyche said: "I've literally not got a clue what to expect (from the hearing), we'll have to wait and see, there's no defining factor on that one.

"That's all for another day, we'll focus on what we have to do this season first.

"But Joey has slotted straight back in, I wasn't expecting anything else. He knows the group, how we work, and he's enjoyed it."

Dyche will again be without Johann Berg Gudmundsson (knee) and Steven Defour (hamstring) at Swansea, while Ashley Barnes sits out a one-match ban.

Jeff Hendrick returns from a three-game suspension, and Dyche said on his injury worries: "I don't think Johann will be fit, neither will Stephen. Steven is getting closer now, he's back training properly and will join in fully next week.

"Johann is just behind that."
