AFC BURNLEY made it three wins from the last four games as they overturned Globe 3-2.

AFC started the brighter and better team and took the lead through Alex Shaw. A long ball was flicked over the defender and then lobbed neatly over the keeper.

Globe then pulled one back through a corner, although there appeared to have been an off-side in the build up to the goal.

AFC got back on the goal trail soon after, as Danny Carter picked up the ball on the half way line and drove at the defenders before cooly finishing from the edge of the area.

AFC started the second half well, but it was Globe who scored first to make it 2-2.

AFC took that as a wake-up call and pushed on for a winning goal, which duly came through Shaw as he found the top corner from range with a precise shot.

Man of Match was Ryan Cooke, who put in a faultless performance.

He didn’t miss a header and was solid at the back throughout.
