Read Cricket Club’s second string added silverware to the Whalley Road treasure trove after being crowned champions of the Ribblesdale League First Division.
Read lost just two games all season to win the title for the fourth time in eight seasons by virtue of runs scored divided by wickets lost as they were tied at the top with Barnoldswick.
The rivals were locked on 154 points.
The batting prize was won by Mohammed Zafran having scored 690 runs while 14-year-old Sophia Turner took the bowling prize with 13 wickets.
Meanwhile, the draw for the LCB Knockout Cup competition took place at Emirates Old Trafford during the LCB Recreational Committee meeting.
The draw was made by chairman Bob Hinchliffe, non-executive director John Murphy and Lancashire CCC’s sales and marketing director Justin Hopwood, in the presence of league officials.
A total of 60 clubs from 10 leagues qualified for the 47th installment of the tournament.
Joint holders Lowerhouse have been drawn away at Great Eccleston while Lancashire League rivals Burnley will entertain Longridge at Turf Moor.
Elsewhere, Ribblesdale Cricket League outfit Read will host Penwortham at Whalley Road.
The ties will be played on Sunday, May 20th.
