Connor Lowes got the rout underway, running out opener Paul Hopton with just one run on the board.

Elliot Lowes then had Tim Stephens caught behind by his captain five runs later.

Mark Gowers and Ben Richardson put on 11 - Brooksbottom’s biggest partnership - but Richardson became Scullard’s first victim, and Scullard also bowled Ashley Horrocks without scoring at 22.

Elliot Lowes took the next three wickets, seeing off Zohaib Qureshi, captain Mark Gowers (12) and Steven Filkins, to leave the visitors on 27-7.

Ryan McDonald and Alex Robb added nine, before the latter was trapped by Scullard without scoring, and Scullard struck again to see off Ian Collier, trapped in front.

Elliot Lowes saw off top scorer McDonald for 19 to end the innings on 46, in one ball short of 14 overs.

Nabeel Ahmed and Joe Marshall put on 21 for the first wicket in reply, before the former was out lbw to Hopton for 5, but Marshall (15 not out) and Thomas Turner (17 not out off eight balls) completed a ludicrously easy win in 7.2 overs.

Padiham had a free date.
