who will be the champion of champions?

Lancashire League winners Lowerhouse are to take on Ribblesdale League champions Baxenden at Back Lane in a pre-season encounter to whet the appetite ahead of their title defences.

The date has been pencilled in for April 8th, starting at 1-30 p.m., with Baxenden winning the toss for home advantage.

The clubs will play for the Surridge Challenge Cup, as well as bragging rights between the two locals leagues.

Surridge organised the challenge match as a thank you to both clubs for their loyalty over many years to the brand.

Provisions have already been made, should the weather intervene, for a 20/20 clash in mid-summer.

The Lancashire League season starts on April 22nd, with Lowerhouse at Bacup.

Meanwhile, Lowerhouse indoor nets dates have been announced.
