Chance to bid for England cricket ace Jimmy Anderson’s shirt

THIS coveted shirt worn by Burnley’s cricketing legend James Anderson could be yours!

James – nicknamed The Burnley Express – has donated the Number 9 shirt he wore in the current series at Sri Lanka, to the summer fair at Read Primary School tomorrow.

The evening fair is on from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and an auction takes place at 8 p.m. for James’s shirt. So if you fancy having this as a souvenir, get along to Straits Lane to make a bid.

Admission is free to the event and attractions includes an Elvis tribute act, archery and a chance to race “The Stick!” There will also be funfair rides, go-karts, raffles and a barbecue.
