Burnley pupils secure county finals place in SPAR Games
Over 200 children from 28 schools took part in a netball competition which saw Wellfield Methodist and Anglican Church School beat Worsthorne Primary School 5-3 in the final match and claim their county finals place.
Elsewhere, wet and windy conditions didn’t stop pupils from Christ the King Roman Catholic Primary School storming to success in an orienteering event held at Towneley Park, overcoming competition from almost 140 children from 23 schools.
