Clarets land Liverpool full back on loan
Burnley have signed Liverpool full back Jon Flanagan on a season-long loan.
The England international, 23, has been sent out on loan by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp to get regular first team football after an injury-hit 18 months, playing 18 games in two seasons after a knee problem.
He recently signed a contract at Anfield to take him through to the summer of 2019, but will battle it out for a slot at full back, with the player, nicknamed "The Scouse Cafu", capable of playing on either flank.
