This gave them 33 team points and put them in first place with a clear 22-point lead, meanning they were Lancashire Cross Country champions 2018!
A huge congratulations to the girls – Erika, Amelia, Sienna, Lexi, Georgia, Hollie, Millie, Kira and Elenor from everyone at Burnley AC.
The Under 11 boys had earlier raced first and also represented the club well.
All five boys ran a strong race and they finished sixth team overall. The team was Harvey, Richard, Caleb, George and Ben.
The boys and girls want to say a special thanks to their cross country coach John Linaker for all of his training, help and support.
