Jayden Saddique and big brother Jameel won bronze medals, Jameel was a little unlucky not to finish higher in the medal positions after being involved in a very close bout.

Ewan Hartley took the silver medal after a mistake in divisions, he was put into the wrong weight division and came up against a heavier opponent.

Ewan then competed in the correct group and was out-pointed in the final.

Ryan Marsden had a walk over in the final as his opponent didn’t show, so the British title was his.

The only girl from Black Knights was Riona Hartley.

Riona has been competing for a few years now, until recently she had never won the top prize.

However, she is now a confident competitor, very determined to succeed and it showed when after being caught in the first round with a front kick that made her slip she then switched it on, using constant combination attacks with hands and feet, her opponent in the final had no reply.

Riona now has her first British title belt to go with her gold medals from other competitions.
