Burnley’s Sophie Hitchon has maintained her Olympic Podium funding for season 2017/18.

The 2016 Rio bronze medallist has been retained by British Athletics on the 15-strong list, which includes Mo Farah. Also included are Dina Asher-Smith, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Laura Muir and Greg Rutherford.

The Olympic Podium list is: Dina Asher-Smith, Holly Bradshaw, Mo Farah, Adam Gemili, Robbie Grabarz, Callum Hawkins, Sophie Hitchon, Zharnel Hughes, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Nick Miller, Laura Muir, Cindy Ofili, Greg Rutherford, Lynsey Sharp, Lorraine Ugen.

Last month, Hitchon was named in the Team England athletics squad for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
