First, though, they’ll host Whalley in the quarter-final of the Twenty20 tonight. Their opponents are three-time champions of the competition but Robinson isn’t fearing anyone.

“Picking up some silverware and securing promotion is what we’re aiming to do,” he said. “That would be really nice. We’ve won every game apart from a bowl out in the Twenty20 so we are all very confident going in to the tie.

“I really believe that we can go on to win it. We’ve excelled in these games so we’re backing our ability. We don’t fear anybody at the moment.”

After beating Barnoldswick in the Twenty20, and seeing their rivals slip up against Salesbury in the league, Robinson added: “We beat Barnoldswick last week which will have a positive affect. We just need to make sure that we beat them when we meet in the league (July 30th).

Joey Marshall’s men will then take to the road again tomorrow as they tackle in-form Settle at the Marshfield Ground.
