There's a new Christmas flavour of Jaffa Cakes coming to shops


McVitie’s has announced that a brand new flavour of Jaffa Cakes with be available this festive season.
It may still be August, but it won't be long before Christmas treats will be lining the supermarket shelves. Jaffa Cake fans can look forward to trying a new chocolate and cranberry flavour this Christmas, which will be priced at £1.20 per box.

Hide AdMcVitie's describe the new flavour as, “A thrilling festive take on a much-loved classic, the new Orange and Cranberry Jaffa Cakes are ready to take centre stage this Christmas.


"The original blend of dark crackly chocolate, light sponge and a smashing orangey centre has been enhanced with the flavours of warming cranberry, creating a surprising and delicious twist for you to enjoy.”
Christmas Digestives
This new addition comes at the same time as the brand announced two new Digestive biscuit flavours for the festive season - gingerbread and Christmas pudding.
This isn't the first time this year that there have been new Digestive biscuits. Back in July, three new flavours were added.

Hide AdThe new biscuits were Classic Caramel Bliss, Heavenly Chocolate Hazelnut and Luscious Blood Orange flavours.
They are topped with a layer of chewy caramel, finished with milk chocolate and are available in 250g packs. McVitie’s says it considers the new snacks to be its “finest biscuits to date."
The products were chosen as the top three favourites out of options provided to participants in consumer trials.
