The Christmas period is a crazy time for everyone, but most of all for emergency services workers.
While many of us have time over Christmas to relax, the same can’t be said for NHS, Fire Service, Police or Armed Forces staff.

Yo! Sushi
While YO! Sushi has a year found 20 per cent Blue Light discount, this Christmas between 20 December and 31 December, their discount is being extended to a huge 50 per cent.
Alyson, HR Director at YO!, said: “We are so proud to have the chance to say thank you to our hard-working heroes during the festive period. Christmas is a season of giving and we’d like to give back to those who do so much for others, not just now but all year round.”
To claim the discount, customers will need to visit the Blue Light website or Defence Discount Service to secure a code which should be shown to a member of YO! Sushi staff. The code is also available on the Blue Light of Defense Discount Service app.

As a thank you from the company, this Christmas NHS staff can enjoy either a free ride to and from work or a free meal at the end of their shift from Uber Eats.
Specifically, you’ll be able to claim either:
- Two £10 journeys from Uber
- Two £10 off vouchers from Uber Eats
The offer will run from between Monday 23 December and Friday 27 December.
To claim the offer, NHS staff members will need to enter their NHS email address into an online form.
You’ll need to do this by 9am on Friday 20 December and it needs to be an NHS email as well in order for Uber to confirm that you qualify for the promotion.
You can read more about the vouchers online here.
