On Sunday, May 1st, we did a sponsored truck pull from the Gannow Wharf.

The support we received was brilliant, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank the following:

Peter Smiths, of Cliviger, for donating the truck for the day; Erfan at UK Sling & Tackle, of Haslingden, for providing the slings and harnesses; Steve at Tool Options and Emma at Work Wearhouse for providing the high-vis jackets; Peter White, of Lower Mead Drive, for providing the banners and Vantex at Sandygate, for providing the T-shirts.

We would also like to say thank you to J2 computers, Burnley FC, Asda, Mama Mia`s, of Padiham; Haircraft, of Dugdale Road; Solorize Sunbeds, of Padiham Road, and Ightenhill Aerials for donating items for the auction.

Special thanks go to Rob, The Jazzers, Back track, DJ Stuart, Fizz Eek and Craig Adams for entertaining us over the weekend and to Bethany and her friend from Ightenhill Children’s Centre for doing face painting.

Thanks for help in organising the event goes to Paul, and to Anthony and Kayleigh for all their help on the day, as well as to everyone who sponsored the activities; the marshals and especially the lads who pulled the truck. You were all brilliant.

It really was a great day so a big thank you to everyone who attended and all the people along the route for their donations.
