With the season properly underway, I feel I must write to express my pleasure at the “togetherness” Sean Dyche seems to have generated at Turf Moor.

The Clarets look more solid and play to their strengths but the thing that stands out is the togetherness they seem to have developed as a unit.

Out of the signings made, I feel the “pick of the bunch”, is the goalkeeper Tom Heaton, who has displayed his agility and excellent shot-stopping skills.

He commands his own “box” better than Jensen and Grant did and shouts to the back four and gives a confidence to everybody around him. When we defend set plays and corners, we seem a lot tighter and Heaton is always “the voice” shouting the instructions.

We have started the season well and with maybe a couple more signings we could surprise a few people at the end of the season.
