Win tickets to Drop The Beat Festival

Tickets are flying off the shelf for this year’s Drop the Beat Festival.

Now a two day event, the festival takes place in Towneley Park on Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th with a mouthwatering lineup of bands and DJs playing throughout the weekend.

And to celebrate this highlight of the Burnley music calendar, The Burnley Express is giving away tickets with a series of competitions.

Soul Revolution headline the Friday night with Ska Face, The Sex Pistols Experience, Kings Of Lyon also playing along with DJs Lee Simon, Steve Hindley and Chris Dean.

On the Saturday, headliners the Clone Roses will be joined by Oasis UK, Happy Mondaze, Jeramiah Ferrari, DJs Krysko, Mark XTC, Jane Angel and many more.

We have 10 pairs of Friday tickets to give away and to be in with a chance of winning one pair all you have to do is answer the following question:

Friday at the festival runs from 3pm until 11pm with Saturday noon until 11pm.

Bonus time

As an added little bonus, organisers are holding a special competition for those of you out there who remember dancing the night away at The Cat’s Whiskers. To win a night out at Nino’s Cliviger all you have to do is log onto the ‘Drop The Beat’ Facebook page and post a comment about your favourite Cat’s track – Record name, artist and why it was so special to you.

On Friday night in The Cat’s Whiskers Arena there will be a countdown featuring the best tracks/entries with number one winning the meal.

You have to be at the venue on the night to collect the prize.
