We’re proud to be making a difference in Burnley

This week is Local Newspaper Week which this year is placing the spotlight on how titles are making a difference in their communities day in, day out.

Here at East Lancashire Newspapers we’re proud to serve the people and businesses of East Lancashire in good times and bad.

In recent days and weeks we’ve helped with printing and providing collection buckets for volunteers to use in the search and subsequent collection for missing teen Declan Edwards, as well as staging our own cake-bake sale to help the family of Doreen Blackburn bring their mum home after suffering a stroke in Portugal. Staff have also collected items for the local food bank.
