VOTE: Should nuclear power be scrapped?
In the week since a massive earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, engineers have been desperately trying to avert a disaster at the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
There have been several explosions and the stricken plant has been severely damaged. Engineers have been trying, round the clock, to cool the reactors down, but the threat of a leak of massive doses of radiation still looms. Exposure to low levels of radiation can cause sickness and higher doses can cause fatal damage to internal organs.
