VOTE: Should cannabis be legalised?
this week has seen police across Lancashire make a united effort to clamp down on those who cultivate and supply cannabis to thousands of drug users.
However, there is online debate over whether this massive crackdown is worth all the police effort and resources and some people are suggesting manpower would be better used elsewhere. They believe it should be legalised so the Government can collect taxes on it and regulate the supply chain.
Others believe that cannabis itself is a dangerous drug and can lead users on to other, still more dangerous substance abuse such as heroin and cocaine. They feel it is right that is should remain illegal.
