It’s cold on the streets of Burnley tonight.
Reporter John Deehan and Kieran Macdonald are facing a long, dark night on the streets of our town to help raise awareness of homelessness and to raise cash for the charity Shelter.
They’re only spending 24 hours without a home to return to, but where would you turn if you really did find yourself in the nightmare situation of having nowhere to go?
John spoke to th team who run the Emmaus charity in Burnley which helps those without a home get back on their feet and develop a sense of purpose.
He chats to community manager Jane Cheeseman about the charity’s work and how benefit changes have seen more young people need a roof over their heads.
