VIDEO: Police chief speaks about “violent” murders
THIS footage shows Det. Supt. Neil Hunter taking quesitions about the horrifying double murder which has shocked Burnley.
Det. Supt. Hunter, who was speaking outisde the Waddington Avenue address, said a motive for the “two violent attacks” was still unclear and they were keepng their options open.
“They suffered head injuries but we are yet to establish the full extent of the injuries,” he said. “Until we get to know their full identity we will be keeping an open mind.”
He also added that it was too hard to say what type of weapon was used and they would know a little bit more when they had conducted the post-mortem examinations.
