Victim left with ‘serious’ injuries after Barnoldswick doorstep attack

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an unprovoked assault in Skipton Road, Barnoldswick.

A man suffered serious facial injuries while sat on his doorstep outside his home on Thursday evening when two men approached him and one, without warning, attacked him.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. and the men are described as white and aged between 20 and 30. The attacker is said to have fair hair.

They were then seen walking towards the Railway pub and into the town centre.

Police said there were many people about and somebody could have witnessed the assault.
