Urgent recall after plastic found in sausage rolls

A baker which supplies supermarkets and sports clubs has recalled batches of its sausage rolls because they could contain pieces of plastic.

Clayton Park Bakery, which supplies products to Spar and Booths supermarkets as well as other bakers is urging customers who have bought any of the affected products not to eat them but to return them as soon as possible.

No other Clayton Park Bakery products are known to be affected.

The Lancashire-based baker supplies products to supermarkets Booths and Spar as well as a range of sporting organisations including Liverpool and Newcastle football clubs, Sale Sharks rugby and Lancashire County Cricket.
