There will be a minute's applause in Burnley's home match against Swansea City for a "much-loved husband" and lifelong Clarets fan who has sadly died.

The tribute to Michael King, who was a Burnley fan for over 60 years, will take place in the form of a minute's applause in the 71st minute of the game in honour of a "much loved husband, Dad, and Grandad."

Proud of his strong affiliation with the club, Michael was a ground safety officer until his retirement and was appointed as a client's agent for the redevelopment of the James Hargreaves and Jimmy McIlroy stands.
