Two people were injured after a second crash on the M65 this morning, say police.
Lanes were closed on the westbound carriageway of the M65 following a multi-vehicle accident.
Emergency services were called to the accident between junctions 3 and 4 at around 9am on April 25.
Early reports suggest that either two or three vehicles were involved in the accident, say police.
Ambulance services said a 30 year-old man was reported to be suffering from "bleeding".
Another patient was reported to have chest pains.
All lanes on the westbound carriageway re-opened at around 10.15am.
Emergency services also attended an earlier accident on the M65 between junctions 3 and 4 at around 8.25am.
A spokesman for the police said of this accident: "We were called to reports of a collision between a white Audi A4 and a red Volkswagen Caddy van.
"Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
"It appears that there was a spillage on the road which needed to be cleared before the lane re-opened."
All lanes on the Eastbound carriageway have now -reopened.
