Three people were taken to hospital yesterday after a crash in Burnley.
The smash, involving three vehicles, happened in Casterton Avenue at 6-15pm and closed the road for two hours.
Women in two of the vehicles complained of neck and back pain and they had to be taken out of the cars on spinal boards.
Crews from Burnley and Nelson used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof from two of the vehicles to get three people out safely.
All three were then taken, by ambulance, to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for precautionary checks.
