A SCHOOLBOY who had to be airlifted to hospital yesterday has been left with a broken nose, grazing and missing teeth.

The 12-year-old Shuttleworth College pupil was in collision with a car in Cowley Crescent, Padiham, at 3-10pm. It was thought he had head injuries but scans at the Royal Preston Hospital revealed his condition to be less serious than first thought. It is believed he was kept in hospital overnight.
