No trains to and from Liverpool Lime Street after wall collapse
Network Rail are advising passengers to expect "major disruption" until 6 March following the incident.
A spokesman for Network Rail said: "Damage caused by a wall collapsing between Liverpool Lime Street and Edge Hill is causing major disruption to journeys to and from Liverpool Lime Street. Trains are currently unable to run to or from this station.

Hide Ad"A section of trackside wall that was loaded with concrete and cabins by a third party collapsed. This sent rubble across all four railway lines damaging the overhead wires in the process.
"An extensive clear-up needs to take place to make the location safe before repairs to the overhead wires can be undertaken.
"Reports from Network Rail indicate that the line may not re-open until Monday 6 March."
