The M65 around Burnley and Pendle is due to close overnight for three occasions next week.
The motorway is due to be closed overnight between Junction 10 at Burnley and Junction 14 at Colne as part of ongoing work to thesafety barriers being carried out by Lancashire County Council.
Work has been taking place over recent months to replace the barrier on the central reservation, and the closures are needed to change the
layout of traffic management to allow work to begin on replacing barriers on the verge at the side of the motorway.
The M65 is due to be closed at the following times:
• Monday, November 2nd, 8pm to 5am.
• Tuesday, November 3rd, 10pm to 5am.
• Wednesday, November 4th, 8pm to 5am.
The work is scheduled for three nights, but could be completed sooner depending on the weather.
Drivers are reminded a 50mph average speed limit is currently in place from Junction 10 to Junction 14 for safety reasons.
