Car bursts into flames near Boundary Mill

A car burst into flames on a busy road near to Boundary Mill late this afternoon.

The shocking incident happened after the car, a Renault MPV, was one of three vehicles which collided between the Boundary Mill Roundabout and Crown Way.

The other two cars involved were a Toyota Auris and Mercedes SL350.

Heavy traffic was brought to a halt after the accident-at around 4-30pm today (Friday).

Police have closed the road in both directions while fire crews attend the scene.

No serious injuries were reported.
