A MAN in his thirties was taken to hospital last night after the car he was driving was involved in a collision with two other vehicles.

The incident happened around 6-25pm in Hebrew Road. Firefighters were called to the scene to cut the driver, who was complaining of neck pain, from his Vauxhall Astra. He was put onto a long board and taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital by paramedics.

No one else was injured in the crash and police closed the road until the wreckage was cleared. Officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
