Tragic Robbie’s canal death: inquest verdict expected soon

The inquest into the death of Burnley boy Robbie Williamson has heard evidence at Burnley Town Hall today.

East Lancashire Coroner Mr Richard Taylor is expected to reach his conclusion into how Robbie (11) met his tragic death after he fell from a gas pipe on a bridge along the Leeds Liverpool Canal last April 22nd.

Representatives from National Grid, the Health and Safety Executive and Robbie’s family have all given evidence at the hearing.
