House fire in Burnley under investigation
Fire crews were called to a house blaze in Burnley last night.
The blaze broke out at the terraced house in Thurston Street at 8-30pm and two fire engines from Burnley and one from Nelson were called to the scene.
Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels, positive pressure ventilation and breaking in gear to extinguish the fire.
Crews were in attendance for two hours and twenty minutes and the cause of the fire is now being investigated.
