Teen caught riding toy scooter on motorway
A 16-year-old girl had to be removed from the M65 by the police after she was seen riding a toy scooter down the carriageway.
The teenager was spotted on the scooter near to junction 8 of the motorway at around 5pm today.
A spokesman from Lancashire Road Policing Unit said: "We cannot stress how dangerous a place the motorway is. It is certainly not the place for this."
