Talent fund from Dave’s charity profits

Burnley’s Bank on Dave invested in the town’s talent by handing over £400 from its profits.

The cash will be used to finance the popular “Burnley’s Got Talent Competition” that gives budding entertainment talent a chance to shine.

Savings and Loans branch manager Chris Woods and his assistant Rachel Cowan presented a cheque to the Mayor and Mayoress of Burnley, Coun. Andy and Mrs Lorna Tatchell.

The peer-to-peer lending association donates its annual profits to charities and is currently assessing all the applications for assistance received in the last 12 months.
