Tahira up for Asian women's award
Tahira Widlof, general store manager at Asda Burnley, has been nominated for an award in business by Asda, making up the short-list of six.
Tahira has worked for Asda for 25 years, including 11 years spent at Asda House, Leeds, in the logistics side of the business.
Tahira said: “I am honoured to be considered for this award, which celebrates the contribution Asian women make to business across the country.”
The winners will be chosen at the awards ceremony, at the London Hilton Park Lane Hotel on May 12th.
