Superstar Cody now favourite to win 'The Voice'

Teenage singing star Cody Frost is the bookies' favourite to win 'The Voice' after storming through to the show's live rounds.

The 17-year-old former Blessed Trinity pupil proved to be a real knockout as her haunting rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall” saw her make mentor Boy George’s final three on Sunday night .Before selecting her for his final line-up, the Culture Club star said he was looking for somebody who could be a real artist and in this person he had found that.Will.i.am, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson all said they would have put her through with Will.i.am describing her as an “amazing artist”.A delighted Cody said it was “so cool” to make it through to the next round. “It’s been amazing learning from somebody who is so similar but so superior.”On her VT Cody described being on “The Voice” as by far the biggest thing she has ever done in her life.“From the moment I heard her singing in the blind audition I knew she was unique,” said Boy George. “I think she’s the real deal. As you can see I’m a little bit in love with Cody.”Cody said she decided to apply for “The Voice” because she wanted to put herself out there. On Saturday she will sing live on BBC One in front of millions of viewers. Make sure you tune in from 7pm.
