Sun shines on Burnley for second Pennine Lancs 10k

More than 2,500 people took to the streets and the town’s parks to run, jog and walk the gruelling course in sweltering heat.

Many people used the run as an opportunity to raise cash for a wide variety of charities, including Pendleside Hospice, with workmates, friends and family getting into the spirit of the popular event.
