Gawthorpe Hall is celebrating the summer with two different craft events.
A Discovering Quilting event will take place at from 1 – 4pm on Friday where visitors will have the opportunity to watch experts demonstrating some of the techniques involved in quilting.
The museum will then host a Discovering Lace event on Thursday, August 9th, from 1pm to 4pm.
During this activity, lace experts will be available to show visitors how to use bobbins and needles correctly to create lace.
Both events are covered by the normal admission price – £6 adults; £4 concessions. National Trust members and children go free.
