Student nurses ready to start work on East Lancs wards
East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust’s wards will have new student nurses from next month.
The 60 new trainee nurses will work across all areas in hospitals and the community, supported by registered staff while developing their nursing skills.
Linda Whitfield, Head of Clinical Education at the trust, said: “We would like to welcome the September 2013 group of student nurses to ELHT.
“The student nurses will do their clinical placements with us over the next three years. We hope they will then join us as registered nurses in 2016!”
